The economic toll continues...

I am not taking bets but I expect the gov't "demands" of refunds from ephraim maina's kirinyaga construction will be "resolved" soon in favour of ephraim maina.

    If anyone makes me think Kenyans still don’t what democracy know means, Ephraim has to be it. He gave most households in Mathira a Ksh1,000 each and two of his agents were even caught bribing queuing voters on the 27th. Nderitu Gachuga had the seat just on his CDF record (2nd best in the country), but he couldn’t compete with “Engineer’s” money (he even bribed the returning officer) and voters' democracy illiteracy. Difference is of course nobody rioted in Mathira…
