I am learning how to blog in an environment that doesn't allow for "always on" access compounded by slow speeds... when speeds over 32K is considered "broadband"... it take a lot of getting used to after using T1 connections (1M or higher!)
Anyway, thanks to all for your support. There is much to blog about and I shall try to do some blogging even with my slower connections.
Since internet time is at a premium, I am learning alternate ways of blogging which though new to me... are not new to many!
I find it easier to "write" then save the file/document on my flash drive after which I can copy & paste. There may be some problems with editing & fonts but it beats losing work coz the internet connection "died"...
Research is more difficult since the searches take time. (Almost) forget pictures!
Anyway, let's see what I can do!

I wish i could sambazia you some bandwidth, but don't complain, kumbuka some 10 years ago when Africa Online were in thing and the speed was about 14kbps and 22kbps if you had a "pentium"
LOL... Ati, sambaza bandwidth... nice!
Thanks for the thought!
You should run a Mozilla firefox plugin (add-on) off you your usb [ i think you can do this with IE7 or even goolge gears] drive that allows you to blog and then upload once you connected to the internet.
Bottom line there are many portable apps that run off the usb drive
Alexcia - I use Firefox... much better than IE... but please send me the name/link of the plug-in...

Mse, you'd been long gone. I guess you now accept the importance of a net connection (any net connection). Just toboa where you are, maybe they have internet in prison...
