Not so easy to get the info.

Of course, I can't get hold of docs. After John Githongo, the crooks have become savvier.

Lakini, watch this space. Things are not what they seem. Kuna kitu.

kellie: LOL... Kuna kitu... It's like the cartel disbanded from triton & immediately moved to the next gig.

The challenge is going to be how to expose these guys.

The OMs have been 'threatened' with the whole price control regime if they raise a stink about Gulf Energy.

The price controls will be onerous thus forcing some to sell out. The buyers will be, ahem, Gulf Energy + cohorts. Some stations/facilities will be 'given/sold' to NOCK as a 'peace offering'.

OK, are you sure its gulf energy or Essar energy? reading in today's BD that Essar is taking over Triton Assets.

Have you got your hands on those documents yet? please update...I'm curious on this one.

@readers - Patience. It is NOT easy to get hold of accurate info or docs. Post-triton, the crooks are being careful.

@ka-investor: Essar is trying to get into the Kenyan market thru the refinery. It will become a bigger payer as it builds its own storage tanks.

Essar is interested in a major takeover. They lost out on Chevron coz they wanted to secure the refinery deal first. I expect Essar to buy out Triton (well, make a bid) as well as some smaller players.

Gulf Energy is NOT Essar... Essar is a multinational... Gulf Energy is homegrown crooks. The same group (with some new players/'sharehoders') as those behind Triton.

Then there is Hashi... yep, talk of tax avoidance...

@Coldtusker,
Mapya? With no mousers in sight of course we're wash with mice!
This hurriedly cobbled together coalition is a complete bust with a 'what's in it for me' premier (cough, all the makings of a Diva and clueless to boot,cough)whose fulfillment of every want precedes the very real need of the entire nation.
We don't have a president (cough,all the makings of a delusional Schizoid-what a pair,cough) we have an individual talented at pronouncements of comedic value at the helm whose myriad health problems and complications thereof effect a wide and gaping leadership/governance vacuum...unless of course queries arise about his spouses which as you know is a matter of extreme urgency and national consequence.
Wizi utazidi, hamna namna ya kuwazuia.
