Coldtusker = MP = 2012

MPs want to be paid Kes 1,500,000 a month. That is 18,000,000/- per year!!!

And they do jackshit. Some of the constituencies have a GDP less than Kes 100,000,000/-...

Bastards... but not if I get elected as an MP in 2012... and make Kes 1,500,000/- per month...

Don't forget the "hidden" allowances that could get Muthama in more trouble with the other MPs for letting the public know:

http://www.kbc.co.ke/story.asp?ID=56267

" But it was Kangundo MP Johnstone Muthama who brought to the fore what was termed by the tribunal as silent allowances, not in the public domain.

This included a flat rate of a computed mileage monthly pay of over 250,000 to every MP which they do not account for, another mileage allowance of 38 shillings per Kilometre for MPs who visit their constituencies also not accounted for, another 250,000 shillings for constituency offices for the MPs which they use as they desire with no scrutiny and more than 10 million shillings grant for cars and houses for every term an MP is elected to office.

All these among other allowances are not taxed."

There is living in Kenya and there is living in Kenya. Survival versus Living it up! Kenya is a rich country. How come I don't get to experience that too??
