Esther Passaris to stand for Mayoral elections!

Yes... I say... yes...

Unfortunately, the mayor is elected by his fellow (corrupt) councilors... otherwise she would have an awesome chance if Nairobians were allowed direct elections...

yes,for results,but a cautious yes.
the lady does indeed have a touch of vision and a heart to go with it,but her matters at court ('breach of promise') plus the means she used to end up with her 1st adopt contract with the ncc show that she is not beyond old-style roguery.

I'd vote for her twice! If only it was possible. Why doesn't she stand for MP for Westlands? We need an MP who actually knows where his constituency is!

AG is preparing a bill that will allow town dwellers to vote mayors directly. Then people like Passaris can bring sense to our townhalls. I hope she's not intending to giver her company a monopoly.

Hi this is esther passaris, thanks for the good and constructive sentiments. If I were elected the mayor all I would want is to see an end to the corruption and an increase in the services. I would also like to know what assets the council owns and upgrade and increase this base with affordable housing, increase in medical centres, schools, markets, parks etc. I also rework the existing road network to ensure traffic flow while we wait for a network that will decongest Nairobi. As for Adopt A Light I want it to be successful and owned by Kenyans while being a profitable project for the council. As for my personal issues, there really should have stayed personal. We all human, and we do make mistakes, some not easy to correct, and life has to go on. As for how I got my contract, by putting forward a proposal. The fights are purely because I succeeded where others failed, and I highlighted the corruption. Since its me you discussing I thought I should be party to the discussion.

Hi All,
I tend to diagree with the opinion of anonymous posted on Nov 7th 2007. Ms. Passaris is one of the few Kenyans who care about getting poverty out of Kenya.
She wants to make an impact that will be felt world wide and more so in Kenya, lets argue with facts ; lets appreciate effort and avoid critism without facts.
Please visit www.oneinamillion.co.ke and see what a great foundation she has to eliminate poverty in Kenya.
Congrats Ms. Passaris.

Esther Passaris may make it for Member of Parliament of Embakasi but I dare say, she is not a person made for leadership, she got leadership thrust upon herself. She is disaster. I worked with her for 6 years!

Ask Zazk, Irene, Lawrence, Fiona, Oduk..etca damning dossier of her will be published soon

Esther Passaris is no Leader, she an entertainer and manipulator. How lucky that Embakasi people saw that. She's really a disaster but good at manipulating men.
